Our Ultimate Kit for Luxman Receivers includes everything you need to electronically restore and upgrade your Luxman.

Our kits use only the highest quality parts from authorized distributors. These kits save you valuable time and headache in sourcing the parts yourself.

If you can solder and desolder, consider yourself handy in any other way, and are deliberate and thoughtful, you can do this!

Any audio gear over 20 years old can benefit from this procedure. Any unit over 30 years old risks failure of other parts without it. Electrolytic Caps drift and fail with time leading to a less detail, transient response, weak bass and mushy overall sound as well as potential failure leading to costly repair.

The sonic difference will likely astound you. Customers consistently tell us how much better their unit sounds after a restoration using our kit.

A restored unit also greatly increases its value.

Quality Parts

• All signal path caps 4.7uf or lower are replaced by sonically superior film caps, most by Wima

• All transistors are made by OnSemi

• Electrolytic caps are primarily Nichicon. Panasonic, United Chem-Con and other reputable brands are also employed

  • Nichicon caps used are primarily from the UPW and UKL line

  • Panasonic caps used are primarily from the FC & FR line

• Relays are primarily Omron

• Trimmer are made by Bourns

All Parts Are Procured Directly through the Manufacture or via Authorized Distributors

Ultimate Kits include the following*

• Replacement Caps for every electrolytic or tantalum cap in the unit.

  • Unless otherwise noted, this includes any off board capacitors including the Filter and Coupling Caps

    • Off Board caps may be smaller in diameter than the originals, our documentation provide a few easy options for installing these

• Replacement Trimmers for critical audio adjustments like bias and dc offset (where applicable in amplifiers and receivers). Other Kit suppliers do not include these.

• Replacement Relay(s) where applicable

  • *Not all units use a relay, not all vintage relays have a modern replacement, and finally not all vintage relays can be ascertained from available data

  • Kits are priced accordingly, you can view our parts list to see if your kit includes the relay(s).

• Replacement Transistors and diodes for those we now know were problematic

  • *Not all transistors and diodes are replaced, nor should they be.

  • Our Parts List shows all the transistors and diodes included

  • Many units made after around 1982 have few or none of these problematic transistors
